2013 – Goals

For 2013 I set 3 for myself.  On this page I plan to report my progress on each of those goals.  The newest reports will be at the top.

1/2/13 –

I walked for 5 minutes and rode the bike for 15!

Took my vitamins.

I want to be healthier

I will get there by –

Exercising at least 15 minutes 5 days a week – NO EXCUSES

Taking my vitamins every day

Watching  what I eat – moderation is key

Keeping track of my weight and measurements


If the scale goes up – I will keep a food diary until it is back down.


The scale goes down 10 lbs., OR if my measurements go down (3+ inches), I will treat myself to a non-food reward (manicure, pedicure, massage, new outfit, Scrapbooking at Scrapaccinos, etc).

I want to be more organized

I will get there by –

Checking the calendar every night

Putting out my clothes before I go to bed

Making sure the sink is empty when I go to bed

Making sure the laundry is moving along every morning and night (or assign it to one of the boys)

Knowing what I will make for dinner the next night when I am cooking the current night

I want to be more relaxed

I will get there by –

Being more organized

Spending at least 1 hour a week doing something for me – Sit on the patio and drink coffee, scrapbook, read a trashy novel, cook a healthy, new recipe, etc.

I think that three goals for 2013 is plenty.  I’m going to take my time and form new habits and make sure they stick!
